About

Restaurant World Tour is the brainchild of a man named Dave who got into the habit of going out every Friday for lunch with his colleagues. After a few weeks, they realised that they were going to restaurants which served different cuisines and it was decided that they should start a Restaurant World Tour, trying a different country’s cuisine each week.

After about 10 or 15 stops, Dave decided that this was really quite a cool idea and a lot of people would like to create their own Restaurant World Tours. After a couple of months building the website, it was finally opened for public use on October 14th 2008, maintaining its philosophy that people should be able to use the site and list restaurants for free.
